Stemie's 1818 Tavern

Today, Stemie's 1818 Tavern is a restaurant that has a bar.  Doug and Tammy Stem purchased the tavern in May of 2006.  Together with their 2 daughters and one son-in-law, they have made great progress.  Their first order of business was to clean the entire building.  Outside, the new landscaping is an obvious improvement.  They have extended the parking lot and installed new signage. Inside, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.  The main floor has new windows and fresh paint.   It is a place where families are welcome to enjoy lunch or dinner from their new and improved menu.    One of their specialties is their crab cakes.  Their meats are fresh from Park Avenue Market and the soups, sauces, and mozzarella cheese are homemade.  They offer daily specials.

1818 Tavern is also a place where adults can go to enjoy a full bar, including a drink menu which includes 35 different martinis.  During the colder months, you will find a pot with apples and cinnamon steaming over a fire in the fireplace. It is both a cozy and comfortable place to go for a night out.
